Edward captured the last light warming Eleni as the muted Coogee headland and gentle waves shift the atmosphere. He divided the composition into four panels to focus on the subtle changes in light, weather and movement of the water. Together, the panels create a quiet rhythm, inviting the viewer to move through the artwork the way he absorbed the moment as it unfolded. The friendship he built with Eleni became the backbone of the piece.
