Lost In My Head

This drawing captures Shay on a metro train, his palm pressed to his head in a clear expression of sadness and deep thought. The scene represents a moment caught in flux, a visual metaphor for the difficult choice where two roads emerge and one must be taken.

To enhance this emotional weight, Edward merged multiple photographs to actively restructure the perspective. The setting is intentionally less rendered and the figure is drawn more realistically. This technique directs our attention entirely to Shay’s thoughts, decisions, and emotions. Ultimately, this isolated moment speaks directly to Edward’s own life and the feeling of constantly finding himself down the alternative path.
