This artwork depicts Naomi with an uplifting and happy expression. Edward found deep inspiration in Katsushika Hokusai’s The Great Wave off Kanagawa, particularly its luminous and striking colour palette. He applied loose, expressive brushstrokes, the blues ripple across the canvas, creating a sense of fluidity and motion that mirrors the ever-changing nature of water.
